LaKrause Headwear are one-of-a-kind, handmade designs that take inspiration from the stylish and glamourous headwear of the past. Each piece is created using various feathers, netting, fabrics and reconstructed felt hats and is accented by vintage buttons, fastenings, buckles, and other found materials. LaKrause Headwear combines classic forms with modern ideas to create unique, fashionable pieces that make a big statement.

Behind the designs is artist, Lori-Anne Krausewitz who received her Fine Arts Honours Degree from York University with a concentration in sculpture and drawing. As an avid vintage clothing and hat collector, Lori-Anne found it difficult to find the right accessory to accompany her 1940's and 50's dresses. So, driven by her love for art and vintage fashion she began creating and designing her own line of unique headwear.
